Program Settings:

From the menu Tools > Program Settings.

The Projects Folder is the location of all projects. It is the default location when opening or saving a project. Change the default location of C:\PWS Projects by browsing to a new location.

Map Window Options: The background color of the map and selected item’s color are displayed. Change either by clicking on the color patch.

Map Window Projection: Select the projection of the map window to match that of your data. The projection data should always be available from the source agency (GIS warehouse, engineer or other). As well, most layer files have a metadata HTML file of the same or similar name that describes the data contents including the projection.
