Select:

The SELECT tool will select an item on the map. The selected item is displayed in color (typically red but changeable in the menu Tools > Program Settings). The item’s information is shown in the data grid on the right of the window.

If the item is editable (an asset or road), selecting it will activate other buttons, such as INVENTORY and CONDITION.
